Charity to hold Tesco protest over lads mags
An anti-domestic violence charity is holding a protest to encourage a supermarket to wrap “lads mags” in brown paper “modesty bags”.
Supporters of The White Ribbon Campaign, based in Mytholmroyd, will be holding a “Lose the Lads Mags” campaign outside the Tesco in King Cross, Halifax, from 12.30pm on Saturday, August 24.
The charity Tweeted: “We don’t want censorship just get them out of the eyeline of small children.”
