Cheque presentation after Shelf gala success
The Shelf Gala Committee held a presentation evening to celebrate the money that was raised from the gala in summer.
Cheques were presented to the local clubs and charities and National charities with the money raised on the gala day.
In total 23 organisations were given donations including 65th Shelf Scouts, Armistise Band, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
Shelf Gala Committee Member, Charlotte Wells, said: “It was great to be able to donate to so many good causes and see just how grateful all these organisations and charities were for this donation.”
