Commuters hit by delays after M621 crash

A collision involving five cars on the M621 east bound in Leeds caused major delays to commuters on the roads this morning.

West Yorkshire Police said the collision occurred before junction 3 at 7.15am.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but police report that it was a “damage only” incident.

The recovery operation caused congestion back to junction 27 of the M62 at Birstall.
