Council tax and business rates suspended on flood damaged properties
Merran McCrae revealed on Twitter that the Council will be suspending council tax and business rates for up to six months for severely affected properties.
She also said the Council are desperately awaiting a Government response on financial aid for grants to households and businesses.

Hide AdHundreds of businesses have been counting the costs due to the unprecedented flooding in the Calder Valley.
A flood appeal by the Community Foundation has currently raised £150,000.
