Left wing organisations will join together for the counter demonstration which wants to see more social housing created in the borough.
The organisations include Calderdale Momentum, Calderdale Peoples Assembly and Unite Community, the community branch of Unite the Union.
The demonstration will start a 5pm and some demonstrators will then attend the Council Meeting which starts at 6pm.

They lied and lied again about the content of the plan but failed. We want to see housing that meets need rather than feeds the greed of speculators and the council again becoming a major provider of Social Housing.”
