CHILDREN in Siddal got creative to transform into a variety of animals for this year’s sponsored walk.
Siddal Children’s Centre held the Big Toddle to raise cash for children’s charity Barnado’s.
The youngsters dressed up as an animal, making their own mask before strolling along the canal for the sponsored event.
Sarah Firth, early years practitioner at the centre, said: “It was brilliant.
“We had pigs, lions and all sorts.
“We walked about a mile and a half, round-trip, with parents and grandparents.
“We had a picnic when we got back and each of the children got a medal at the end of the day for doing it.”
