A Special day for new recruits

There was a Special atmosphere at Halifax Police Station during an open evening for potential volunteer recruits.

The event saw residents interested in becoming a Special Constable or police volunteers question serving Specials and volunteers, as well as Chief Inspector Justine Plumb - who herself first joined the force as a Special.
