Appeal after assault in Halifax


Police are appealing for witnesses after a man’s jaw was broken in an assault in Halifax.

The offence occurred between 12.30am and 1.30am on Sunday, November 17, in Ward’s End, Halifax. The victim, an 18-year-old man, was punched to the face by another man causing him to fall to the ground.

The man is described as white, around 18-years-old, with short, dark coloured hair.

Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call Detective Constable Graham Bennett in Halifax CID on 101. Alternatively, information can be passed to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
