Appeal after attack by men dressed as superheroes

Police have re-appealed for information after a 22-year-old man was assaulted in a Halifax nightclub.

As previously reported by the Courier, the victim was attacked from behind in Chicago’s in Halifax in the early hours of Sunday October 29 by a man dressed as Batman.

Detectives in Calderdale CID have now said they want to speak to a group of men in their early 20s who were in fancy dress - including a Batman costume, two Robin costumes, a Superman costume.
Another suspect was said to be dressed as a baby in a white jump suit with a white bonnet.

The victim was taken to hospital after the attack, with a head injury which required stitches.
