Armed police unit called to stabbing incident in Halifax
An armed response unit was called to assist officers in Halifax where a man suffered facial injuries and a stab wound to his chest.
Officers were called to a report of an assault in Gibraltar Road at 3.07pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The 41-year-old victim was taken to hospital following the incident.
A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in police custody.
