Masked robbers smashed their way into a post office in a three-minute night raid.

Four armed robbers used sledge hammers and crow bars to force entry into Illingworth Moor Post Office, Illingworth, Halifax, where they ransacked the cigarette kiosk and scratch card counter and stole a till with a float of £100.
Hooded robbers, believed to be men, repeatedly smashed the post office cashier window and instore ATM machine but were unsuccessful in gaining entry or taking cash.
The robbers were in and out seconds before police arrived at the scene.
The raid was captured on CCTV and can be viewed on the Courier website.
The raid took place at around 12.30am on Tuesday December 3.
Family-run business employee Mohammed Akram said: “They have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. We had to close for two days to clean up the mess - this will really affect our business and will take a lot to recover.”
PC Katy Bradford of Halifax North and East neighbourhood policing team said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed this offence or saw anyone acting suspiciously. Those involved left the area with a large plastic bag and if anyone saw a group or individual with such a bag shortly after the incident we are keen to speak with them as they may have vital information.”
