Arrested man bailed as inquiries into Halifax mugging continue

A MAN arrested after a mugging in Halifax has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Detectives are still appealing for witnesses to the robbery at 4am on Thursday on Lombard Street in King Cross.

The 25-year-old victim suffered a fractured eye socket in the attack and his mobile phone was stolen.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who has information that might help their investigation.
