There was an altercation and the woman managed to scream for help.

The suspect ran off towards Sackville Street empty-handed.

The victim was unhurt, but shaken by the incident.

The suspect is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build and is believed to be in his 20s.

He was wearing a grey hooded top with jeans or tracksuit bottoms.

Detective Inspector Richard Partis, of Bradford District CID, said: “There were a lot of people in the Sunbridge Road area at that time of day and it is very likely that someone will have witnessed this incident or seen the suspect as he fled.”
