Axe-wielding men kill pet parrot as they flee from Brighouse burglary
and live on Freeview channel 276
Detectives are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Brighouse on Monday (April 19).
Between 9.35pm and 9.45pm on Monday, two males entered a house on Rayner Road.

Hide AdOne was in possession of an axe and threatened the two occupants, a woman in her 60s and a man in his 30s, making demands for cash.
While leaving property, the suspects fatally injured a pet parrot which was in the house.
They left through the back door and onto a cobbled street which runs behind Rayner Road.
One of the suspects is described as white, around 5ft 7ins and of slim build. He was wearing a black ¾ length coat with his hood tightened around his face and a blue bandana across his mouth and nose. He is believed to have been in his early 20s.

Hide AdThe second suspect was also a white male, around 5ft 8ins and of slim build and also believed to be in his early 20s. He was wearing a plain grey hoody, pulled tight around his face.
He was wearing a red bandana across his face and was carrying an axe.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed two males acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident or who saw them fleeing from the property.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV capturing the males in the area.
