Police investigating the murder of 21-year-old Ridda Zanab have issued an international arrest warrant for husband Danish Irfan in connection with the woman’s murder.
Ridda Zanab’s body was found at her Bradford home on Monday November 4 after police, who were concerned for her safety, attended the Alford Terrace property.
The female died as a result of head injuries.
On November 5, police issued a statement to say they would like to speak with her husband Danish Irfan in connection with his wife’s death.
Police believe that Danish Irfan has left the country and that there is a strong possibility that he has returned to Pakistan.
However, his exact whereabouts at this time are not known and a warrant has been obtained through the British courts for his arrest in connection with the murder of his wife Ridda Zanab. The Crown Prosecution Service has circulated this warrant internationally via Interpol.
Danish Irfan, 21, from Bradford, is described as Asian, between 5’ 9 and 5’ 10 tall, of slim build.
Anyone who has any information as to Mr Irfan’s whereabouts is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
