Calderdale police probe into racial attack outside Sowerby Bridge pub

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Sowerby Bridge.

Details of the investigation have been released today by West Yorkshire Police.

The incident happened on Saturday October 10 at The Works pub, Hollins Lane, Sowerby Bridge.

At around 8pm, a man aged in his 50s and 43 year-old woman were involved in an altercation outside The Works pub.

The incident was reported to the police and the officers have recorded an offence of racially aggravated assault.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the altercation to come forward.
