Car seizures and tickets issued during Queens Road police operation

A number of cars were seized and tickets issued during a police operation in Halifax.

On January 24 Operation Hawmill focused on the Queens Road area of Halifax.

The operation is funded by the Calderdale Community Safety Partnership.

These are the results of the operation

2 x seizures for no insurance

2 x Number plates not conforming

2 x Speeding

1 x No MOT

3 x Tickets no insurance

1 x TAX seizure

2 x tyres under legal limit

1 x contravene red light

The operation, which is funded by the Calderdale Community Safety Partnership, targets motorists speeding, driving above the drink or drug limit, motorists using a phone while driving and driving without a seatbelt.
