Dangerous Halifax driver crashes after failing to stop for police

Officers were carrying out patrols in the Park Ward area as part of Operation Hawmill

During the operation a car failed to stop for officers and crashed.

The male driver was arrested for dangerous driving and for drug offences

Three other vehicles were also seized for no insurance as part of the operation

Operation Hawmill is funded by the Calderdale Community Safety Partnership.

It focuses on areas of community concern and the fatal four, speeding, driving above the drink or drug limit, using a phone while driving and driving without a seatbelt.
