Dangerous Halifax driver left behind bags, scales and corn flake tart as he fled from police
A driver ran away from police and left behind a number of items in Halifax.
The Vauxhall was reported by the public for driving dangerously.
The car was spotted by officers from the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team in the Siddal area.
The NPT said the car has no current keeper, no insurance and no tax.
A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Driver sees police and initiates a game of hide and seek by hiding his car down a dead end track before running off leaving his grip seal bags, scales and corn flaketart behind.
"We can only assume the driver is on a diet which is why he is having to break his tart up into 1/8 ounce pieces."
Enquirires remain ongoing.
