A 38-year-old man from Bradford is currently in custody after being arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.

Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, said: “The vehicle stolen is quite distinctive in colour as it is electric blue. It is also a five-door version of the R32 and we believe these are quite rare.

“It is likely that someone will have seen this car as it drove off from Cleckheaton Road or since then. They may even have been offered it for sale.

“We are also keen to trace the vehicle used by the suspect, which was a silver hatchback-type vehicle with a headlight out.”
