Drink driver and speedsters caught during dedicated Calderdale police operation

A driver over drink drive limit and speeding motorists were caught by police officers in Calderdale.

Operation Hawmill, Calderdale police force's partnership road safety operation, carried out patrols in the Luddendenden and Mytholmroyd wards.

These are the tickets issued to drivers and vehicle seizures:

1 x driver reported to court for driving whilst disqualified

Operation Hawmill is funded by the Calderdale Community Safety Partnership.

It focuses on areas of community concern and the Fatal4, speeding, driving above the drink or drug limit, using a phone while driving and driving without a seatbelt.
