Five randomly-chosen pubs and clubs were visited by the team.

Sergeant Jonathan Firth, from Halifax Central neighbourhood policing team, said they would be repeating the checks in the future.

Anyone with information about drugs in their area should call their neighbourhood policing team via 101.
