An Elland woman accused of a series of theft charges has made her first appearance before a crown court judge.
Dawn Archibald, 47, appeared at Bradford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing in relation to 15 allegations of theft.
Prosecutor Adam Birkby told Judge Robert Bartfield that the charges related to the defendant’s employment at two separate care home facilities.
Although Archibald, of Bowood Road, was not asked to enter any pleas to the charges today Mr Birkby indicated that she had denied being responsible for the thefts.
The full details of the charges were not read out in court.
The judge was told that Archibald’s trial could last about five days and he confirmed that a date had been fixed for March 3 next year.
Archibald’s unconditional bail was extended until a plea and case management hearing on November 8 when she will be asked to formally enter her pleas to the allegations.
