Enquiries ongoing after arson attack on building in Brighouse

Detectives in Calderdale are continuing to investigate after an arson attack in Brighouse.

At 4.30am on Friday, October 20, police were called to a report of a building on fire on Gooder Lane, Brighouse.

The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were already in attendance and extinguished the fire.

No one was inside the property at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

The incident has been recorded as arson and enquiries are ongoing with Calderdale CID.
