Evacuation at Halifax Nestle chocolate factory after fire halts production
A fire was reported at the Halifax site at Bailey Hall Mills, Halifax, shortly after 5am on Friday May 15.

Hide AdThe fire was contained to one plant room, Nestle UK told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Production is set to restart later today as the company investigate internally to establish the cause of the fire.
Nobody was hurt in the blaze, it was confirmed.
A spokesman from Nestle said: "A fire was reported at our Halifax site at around 5am on Friday 15 May.

Hide Ad"The fire was reported in one of the factories, everyone was safely evacuated, and no-one was hurt.
"Our thanks to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service who attended.
"We will now investigate internally to establish the cause of the fire."

Hide AdWest Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene this morning.
Six breathing apparatus wearers entered the factory to dampen the fire.
A dry powder extinguisher and positive pressure ventilation fans were also used by crews.
