Firms admit health and safety breaches after delivery driver killed in Hebden Bridge
Doncaster man Keith Jarman, 65, died after a metal delivery cage fell onto him while he was at the Oasis store in Crown Street.
Today (Wednesday) the managing director of Oasis (Hebden Bridge) Limited John Gumbley formally entered a guilty plea on behalf of the firm to the charge under the Health and Safety at Work Act during a brief hearing before a judge at Bradford Crown Court.

Hide AdMr Jarman’s employer DHL Supply Chain Ltd also formally admitted a similar charge under the same legislation.
Prosecutor Nicholas De La Poer told Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC that the pleas meant a timetable could be fixed for progress of the case with a sentence hearing due to take place on September 8.
