A driver given a police warning had their car seized minutes later for speeding.

West Yorkshire Police's Road Policing Unit was out on patrol in Halifax on July 2.

The Mercedes car was seen drive speeds in heavy rain and given words of advice by officers.

However minutes later the same car was seen speeding at 50mph in a 20mph zone.

The speeding Mercedes was seized by police.

The unit confirmed that the vehicle was seized and driver reported for driving without due care and attention.
