Halifax street attack leaves victim with slash injuries across his chest

Police officers in Calderdale are appealing for witnesses to an attack that left the victim with slash wounds across their chest.

The incident occurred outside the Aldi supermarket in Pellon Lane at about 5.15pm on Friday, December 3.

A 30-year-old man received minor slash injuries to his chest in the incident and the attacker is believed to have ran off towards Raglan Street.

The attacker is described as a white male with dark skin, of stocky build and is believed to be in his late twenties or early thirties.

He had black facial hair and was wearing a green beanie hat, a khaki/grey jumper with a similar coloured bodywarmer and cream coloured chino-type trousers.
