Huge Nestle chocolate factory on fire in West Yorkshire

Emergency services are at the scene of a fire at a huge Nestle chocolate factory.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene at Nestle UK, Bailey Hall Mills, Halifax, shortly after 5am this morning.

The fire was reported in plant room machinery located on the second floor.

Six breathing apparatus wearers entered the factory to dampen the fire.

A dry powder extinguisher and positive pressure ventilation fans were also used by crews.

Crews from Halifax, Illingworth, Rastrick and an areial appliance from Huddersfield attended.
