Five drivers were issued with tickets for not wearing a seatblet.

Another three were caught for registration plate offences.

One driver was caught speeding and a vehicle was seized as the driver did not have any insurance.

.Operation Hawmill is targeted enforcement work by Calderdale Police to tackle dangerous driving and is funded by the Calderdale Safety Partnership.

The Calderdale Road Safety Delivery Group is made up of West Yorkshire Police, Calderdale Council, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and other representatives from Highways England, education sector and public health.

West Yorkshire Police are continuing to clamp down on the fatal four offences.

These are the main the four factors that contribute to a road traffic collision or serious injury.

They are are speeding, drink drive, mobile phone use and driving without a seat belt.
