M62 driver sticks finger up at police officer after driving in closed lane of motorway

An irresponsible driver who had failed to see he was travelling in a closed lane of the the M62 gestured at a police officer after they came close to crashing into him.

The lane had been closed due to a broken down vehicle.

West Yorkshire Police traffic officer PC Martin Willis posted the video on social media showing the dangerous piece of driving.

PC Willis can be seen remonstrating with the driver after he continued to travel in the lane despite a red X sign above it.

"I later attend at the driver's home. Driver reported for failing to comply with a lane closure and it also transpired he wasn't insured!"
