Man admits to killing Elland resident Daniel Campbell
Robert Lyn, 45, appeared at Bradford Crown Court this morning (Monday) for a preliminary hearing accused of the murder of Mr Campbell on July 18.
Lyn, who was remanded in custody, will next appear before the court on Friday, November 14, where he will have to enter a plea.

Hide AdDefending, Richard Wright said Lyn had admitted to the unlawful killing of Mr Campbell during a conference meeting and told the court that the defendant would “fully cooperate in providing information about the whereabouts of the weapon used to kill the victim”.
Prosecuting Peter Moulson told the court the knife had already been recovered by police.
Both the prosecution and defence have requested a psychiatric report.
Recorder of Bradford Judge Roger Thomas QC said: “The case is moving forward sensibly and productively, focusing on the real issues. On November 14 you will be back here - by that time doctors will have seen you, and that’s when you’ll have to say from your own matter whether you’re guilty or not guilty.”

Hide AdLyn, of Huntingdon Avenue, Huddersfield, wore a red jumper, glasses and black trousers during his appearance in court and spoke only to confirm his name.
He is accused of murdering 38-year-old Daniel Campbell - who was stabbed multiple times, at a house on Elizabeth Street, Elland, on July 18.
