Man arrested after Southowram car thefts
A man has been arrested in Southowram after a number of vehicles had been broken in to.
The West Yorkshire Police helicopter was called to the village at around 4am this morning (Monday) to help search for the suspect.
Along with the police dog team they found a man wedged up in a gap of a wall by woodland.
An officer from the WYP Roads Policing Unit found the stolen items nearby.
The suspect was arrested and is in police custody.
