Man arrested in Elland after chase involving police helicopter
A man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a vehicle in Elland.
The man was arrested on Westbury Street at 3.52am today (Tuesday) following a chase involving the police helicopter, officers on the ground and police dogs.
West Yorkshire Police Dogs Tweeted: “Supported by Halifax response colleagues & @NPAS_CarrGate one male detained after reported theft. Extensive search made in difficult terrain.”
