Man drunk at the hospital says sorry

A court heard how a man drank ten pints of lager before shouting abuse at staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital.

Terrence Bintliff, 30, was at the hospital at 11.30pm on August 31 after receving a cut to the head following a fight in Halifax town centre.
But he became impatient at the long waiting times - so kicked a car before becoming abusive towards staff.
Police needed to pin Bintliff, of Ashville Grove, Halifax, to the ground to arrest him.
He told Calderdale Magistrates: “I’m deeply ashmed.”

He admitted being drunk and disorderly and was fined £210.
