Man faces trial over alleged stabbing
A 25-year-old man has made his first appearance before Bradford Crown Court after being charged over an alleged stabbing in Brighouse earlier this month.
James Marriott, of Bradford Road, Brighouse, faces a wounding charge after a 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with his injuries in the early hours of December 6.
Marriott, who is currently on conditional bail, appeared before Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC for a preliminary hearing on Monday, December 22, and he was told that a trial date had been fixed for May 21 next year.
Marriott will have to return to the court on March 9 for a plea and case management hearing.
