Man has finger bitten off in Halifax bar attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man lost the top of his finger in a suspected bite attack.

The incident happened at 12.30am on Saturday, March 29, at Yates’s in Silver Street, Halifax.

The suspect is described as a white male, with short, dark hair and in his late 20s to early 30s. He was wearing a white t-shirt with black writing.

DC Nick Clay, from Halifax CID, said: “It’s an incident where someone’s lost the top of one of his fingers. We suspect it was bitten off.”
