Pensioner denies flashing


A pensioner accused of harassing and flashing a neighbour’s daughter appeared at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court.

Gerald Foster, 72, of Laurel Mount, Halifax, on October 21, pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent exposure and pleaded not guilty to a charge of harassment.

Mr Foster is charged with indecently exposing his genitals and masturbating from the window of his home as a female looked on from a neighbouring property, on September 10.

The pensioner is also charged with sending a female a sexually suggestive letter; posted through a neighbour’s property door.

After pleading not guilty to both charges, Magistrates’ set a trial date.

Mr Foster will next appear at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court on December 16.
