Police appeal after Huddersfield robbery


Police in Huddersfield are appealing for witnesses after a man was the victim of a robbery at an address on Elder Grove, Netherton, Huddersfield, on Tuesday August 5.

The incident happened at 1am when four men entered the property.

One of them threatened the male victim with a knife.

The victim was also hit in the arm. He was left with slight puncture marks to the hip area and bruising.

The group then took keys, cash and a mobile phone.

The four men are all described as black. Three of them were aged 25 to 30.

The first one was about 6ft tall, of slim build and wearing a hooded top which was light in colour and a bandanna.

The second male was also wearing a bandanna and a hooded top and the third was wearing a black hooded top and black bandanna with white coloured circular patterns. He was over 6ft tall and of slim build.

The fourth man was about 6ft tall and wearing a bandanna and hooded top

DC Andy Clayton of Huddersfield CID, said: “I would appeal to any witnesses or anyone with information about it to call 101.”
