Two men were left with slash and puncture wounds and needed hospital treatment following an attack.
The incident is thought to have occurred between midnight and 1.30am in the early hours of Wednesday, February 25.
The men, aged 18 and 24, have since been discharged from hospital.
DS Adrian Belle, of Kirklees District CID, said:‘‘The suspects are believed to be have known to the victims and we are treating this as a targeted incident.
“We are appealing for anyone who was in the Grange Road Area between midnight and 1.30am who may have witnessed the incident, or have information that may assist the investigation.’’
