Police are asking for help to find a man missing from Huddersfield

Alan Holt, 40, was reported missing on October 2 and was last at his home on Albany Road in Dalton, Huddersfield on September 27.

Alan is described as a white 5ft 8ins tall and slim.

He is balding on top, with black hair at the back and sides. He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder that reads ‘On Fire’.

Police expect him to now have an unkempt beard and a dishevelled appearance due to the time he has spent apparently sleeping rough since his disappearance.

Alan was spotted on October 8 in the grounds of St Mary’s Church, Mirfield. At the time he was wearing a blue jumper and jeans and had a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag with him.

There have also been possible sightings of him on Woodhead Road in Lower Hopton on October 10 and at Sandal Grange in Wakefield on October 18.

For this reason police believe that Alan could be anywhere in West Yorkshire and are appealing for anyone who sees him to contact them.

People with information should call PC Karen Truelove at the Kirklees Police Missing Person Unit via 101.
