Police find cannabis plants in cellar of house in Todmorden

Officers uncovered six cannabis plants in a house in Todmorden yesterday.

Officers from the Upper Valley neighbourhood policing team had been alerted by members of the public complaining of a strong smell of cannabis coming from the building.

They found the plants in the cellar.

A 32-year-old man was reported for drugs offences.

The team say the growing equipment they also found will be given to local charities.

Anyone with concerns about drugs in their area should call their neighbourhood policing team via 101.
