Police uncovered a series of motoring offences during a day of action in Boothtown.
Over 400 vehicles were checked on Boothtown Road during the action day and fines and tickets were issued for speeding, drivers and passengers not wearing seat belts, vehicle defects and having no MOT.
More than £600 of fines were collected during the event overseen by local Neighbourhood Policing Teams officers PC Anna Law and PCSO Laura Oakes.
PC Law said: “The feedback from members of the passing public was very positive.”
Also taking part in the event was PC Felicity Davis from the Safer Roads And Neighbourhood Support Unit, officers from taxi licensing and Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.
