Police are hunting a man with links to Halifax after a 12-year-old girl was filmed and talked to inappropriately on a Blackpool bus.
Police want to talk to Andrew Threappleton, 47, in connection with the incident which happened on Tuesday, April 21, when a man sat behind the girl and began to film her on a mobile phone before allegedly making suggestive comments towards her.
Sergeant Chris Sanderson, of Blackpool Police, said: “We would like to speak to Andrew Threappleton in connection with this incident and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
Threappleton, whose last known address was in Blackpool, is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, large build with blue eyes and has a Yorkshire accent. Officers believe he also has links to the Burnley and Halifax areas.
