Police issue appeal after assault in Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man received serious facial injuries in an assault in a McDonalds.

Leeds District Police have issued CCTV stills of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident which took place between 3am and 3.15am in the McDonalds on Boar Lane, Leedss on Sunday January 26.

It occurred after the victim, a 19-year-old Leeds man, was punched in an unprovoked assault as he stood queuing for food after a night out.

He received serious facial injuries as a result of the assault which left him requiring treatment at Leeds General Infirmary and dental work.

PC Steve Slee, of Leeds District Police, said; “This was an unprovoked assault on a young man who was simply queuing for food after a night out and we would like to speak to the two men pictured in connection with the incident.
