Police launch investigation after man’s body is found in Halifax

Police have launched an investigation after the body of a 33-year-old man was found at an address in the Pellon area of Halifax yesterday (Tuesday).

The body was found by ambulance staff at around 1pm.

The police have launched an investigation to discover the circumstances of the death.

Detective Inspector Craig Lord, of Halifax CID, said: “At around 1pm yesterday an ambulance was called to an address in the Pellon area of Halifax.

“They found the body of a 33-year-old male and as a result the police were called.

“We are investigating the circumstances of the death.”

The man’s body is now with the Calderdale Coroner.
