Officers from halifax Neighbouhood Policing Team arrested a 15-year-old male yesterday in the Woolshops Shopping Centre for numerous offences including breaching a court order and court bail conditions.

The NPT said the teen violently resisted the arrest resulting in minor injuries to a police officer and police community support officer.

A spokesperson for the NPT said: "The arrest took place in a busy town centre shopping area witnessed by numerous members of the public including one person who kindly assisted the two officers with the arrest.
