Police probe blue laser aimed at helicopter in sky above Calderdale
Police officers in Calderdale are investigating an incident when a blue laser was aimed at helicopter
At approximately 8.35pm on Thursday April 5, a passenger helicopter was flying over Ripponden when a blue coloured laser was aimed at it.
A spokesperson for the Calder Valley Neighbourhhod Policing Team said the blue laser is far stronger and more dangerous than the green laser and whilst this type of incident is rare, it could have resulted in a serious accident.
