Police probe into Brighouse fights involving machete and baseball bat

Police are appealing for witnesses to two incidents of disorder involving a machete and baseball bat in Brighouse.

West Yorkshire Police received reports of several males fighting on Hardy Street, Brighouse at around 5.30pm on Monday.

One male is reported to have been in possession of a baseball bat.

Later at around 9.25pm, a further call was made to police reporting several males arguing on Smith House Avenue, with one male reported to be in possession of a machete.

There have been no reports received of any injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who witnessed either of the incidents to contact police.
