Police probe serious Leeds sex assault

Officers are appealing for information after a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in Leeds.

The 24-year-old victim was attacked by a man in a park off Grafton Street between 5am and 6am today (Fri).

He was described as white, aged in his twenties, slim and about 6ft tall. He was clean shaven and had short brown hair.

The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers and the incident is being investigated by detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
